Avonworth Soccer Association welcomes boys and girls entering Kindergarten to 12th grade. Team placement is based on birth date, and if needed, by assessment of ability during skills days and practices. There may not be teams in every age group, according to the number of registrants.

For the Spring and Fall Seasons:

• Kindergarten to 2nd grade: Teams/games are managed through the North Boroughs YMCA
• Grades 3-6: Play on ASA travelling teams within the PA-West Soccer District 2 region. Home games and practice are at the Ohio Township Park.
• Grades 7-12: In the fall, players are encouraged to play fall soccer with the Avonworth middle school and high school. In Fall 2012 ASA will field U14 teams as a complement to the Avonworth middle school teams. For players that are on a middle school team, our teams provide additional games that would allow younger players to get more playing time, or to provide games against more balanced competition. These teams also allow players who are unable to play with the middle school to play in the fall.

Specific information will not be available regarding teams and game schedules until right before the season begins. In the fall and spring, U10 games are typically on Saturdays and U12 and U14 games are typically Sundays. Please do not let schedule uncertainty hold you back, get registered!
